🗑️ How to delete your account

You can request deletion of your Secret of the Desert account and associated personal data in either of the following ways:

Option 1 — In the app (fastest)

1. Open the Secret of the Desert app and sign in.
2. Go to Account.
3. Tap Delete account.
4. Confirm the warning and enter your current password.
5. Tap Delete permanently. Your account is deleted immediately.

Option 2 — By email (if you can't access the app)

1. Send an email to support@secretofthedesert.com with the subject line "Account Deletion Request".
2. Include the email address registered on your account so we can verify your identity.
3. We will confirm your identity and process the deletion within 30 days, and email you once it's complete.

✅ What gets deleted

When your account is deleted, the following personal data is permanently removed or anonymized:

• Your name, email address, and phone number
• Your saved delivery addresses
• Your wishlist and saved favorites
• Your login credentials (you will no longer be able to sign in)
• Your tourism booking and transfer preferences

📄 What may be retained, and why

Some information cannot be deleted immediately because we are legally required to keep it, or because keeping it protects you and other users from fraud. This is limited to:

This data is retained only for the minimum period required by applicable law, is not used for marketing, and is deleted or fully anonymized once that period ends.
